Nick Springfield and Roger Boe Cummings encountered many hardships in the mid to late 80's trying to land a spot in pop rock bands but were unsuccessful. Roger, a singer/keyboardist and Nick, keyboard and electric drummer were rejected by almost every band they auditioned for mainly because of their poor work ethic and skittle addiction.  Nick and Roger met when they finally got their break and landed jobs in the band "Toll House" but before they could get established or land any working gigs Nirvana hit the music scene and the 80's were dead.
The group disbanded but Nick and Roger grew fond of each other and started writing tunes together. Realizing that they would never make it as the Pop Stars  they had hoped to be, they decided to take a different approach to music. While playing around with their drum machines and keyboards they began making house music beats and writing wacky songs.
The Boner Boys were born.
